Fife Lake’s history

Fife Lake is a small hamlet in south-central Saskatchewan, set between Coronach and Rockglen in the Rural Municipality of Poplar Valley No. 12, not far from the Canada–United States border. It lies about 11 kilometres east of Rockin Beach Park and Fife Lake itself.

For many years Fife Lake was an incorporated village. On January 27, 2005, that changed when it was restructured as a hamlet under the authority of the RM of Poplar Valley, which is how it remains today.
